Real Estate Disputes / Litigation

Real estate disputes arise for a variety of reasons.  They can happen prior to closing, e.g.,  a buyer can refuse to pay the contractually-agreed on price at closing or a seller has cold feet and decides to keep the property despite the existence of a contract to sell. The disputes can also happen after closing, e.g., .a real estate agent or attorney can make a material misrepresentation which induced a buyer to purchase the land that they otherwise would not have or someone involved in the transaction can fail to take appropriate action to obtain proper title to the property.  Many times real estate disputes between two parties have implications beyond the parties themselves, whereby mechanics liens and work delay costs are involved.  We have the experience and track record to get you the results you deserve and bargained for.

Whether it a residential or commercial property dispute, our law office can handle it for you.  We will take the appropriate action to insure your rights are protected and the proper resolution is reached.  Sometimes that means litigating the matter, other times, negotiating a settlement at mediation is more appropriate.  If you have a real estate transaction that has gone bad — for whatever reason — please contact the Law Office of Daniel J. McCarey, LLC for a free consultation
